We welcome all gathering for worship this morning or later in the week. Welcome Rev. Dr. Herb Gale

Herb is originally from North Carolina, where he served a Presbyterian congregation for four years before coming to Canada for further study at the Toronto School of Theology.  After twenty years in congregational ministry in Ontario, Herb served as Associate Secretary for Planned Giving for The Presbyterian Church in Canada from 2004 until his retirement in 2015.  From April 2016 through March 2018, Herb served part time as the Minister of Generosity and Stewardship at Knox Presbyterian Church in

Guelph where his wife, Rev. Dr. Shirley Gale, is currently on staff providing pastoral care for seniors and shut-ins.  Herb has been a frequent speaker at conferences, workshops and retreats and served on the initial planning teams for The Presbyterian Church in Canada’s Stewards by Design conferences. In 2010, he was elected Moderator of the 136th General Assembly.

We gather on the traditional territory of the Wendat, the Anishnaabeg and the Haudenosaunee Peoples. We are also on lands that are part of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum. We live and work, worship, learn and meet on lands that are the traditional territory of many different Indigenous Peoples who were here before the establishment of European colonies.


NEXT WEEK! Rally Sunday, Sept 10 2023 - Family and Friends BBQ Luncheon

After a 3 yr absence the FUNdraising Team will host the ever popular Rally Sun BBQ. Come and enjoy hot dogs, sausages ( 2 types ) and corn ala cob plus coffee, tea, water, juice and pop to drink. The meal will occur in the hall after the  service.
We are asking for a donation to defray costs:

  • $5 / person

  • $10 / family (family means parents, children, grandparents and grandchildren)

Volunteers will be welcome and appreciated on:

  • Sat Sept 9 from 1 to 3ish to set up

  • Sun Sept 10 for take down. We should have enough cooks, servers, huskers to prepare the meal.

Desserts would be welcome:

  • ½  dozen cookies, squares etc

To help our team out please text, email or phone the church office and give a name and number so we can plan accordingly.
