Welcome Rev. Dr. Charles Fensham

Rev. Dr. Charles Fensham, a distinguished member of the Knox College Faculty since 2002, specializes in Missiology, Reformed Theology, and the intersection of LGBTQI2+ issues with Christian Churches. With a keen interest in Public Missiology, he directs graduate students in projects exploring ecclesiology, theologies of David Bosch and Jürgen Moltmann, ecological theology, and the nuanced intersection of spirituality, sexuality, and faith. As a minister associated with Rosedale Presbyterian Church, Toronto, Charles contributes to a public missiology emphasizing Christian witness and affirming sexual and gender minorities. His recent book, "Mission as Penance," exemplifies his impactful work.
