Introduction 2 - 21 Things YMNKA The Indian Act Virtual Pilgrimage

In this episode, Rev. John explains the purpose of a pilgrimage and the hope that this virtual one may serve to transform our ways of seeing things as we join him on this journey. He also delves into the use of various terms for defining Indigenous peoples in Canada and reflects on how it might feel to be defined by others as opposed to be free to live by your own definition.

St. Andrew's Guelph and Rev. John are committed to "doing the work" of anti-racism and seek ways of bringing attention to the issues that matter. While this is a personal journey for Rev. John, he hopes that others will join him using these reflections as a companion piece to savouring the reading of Bob Joseph's book.

Please purchase a copy of the book, 21 Things You May Not Know About The Indian Act where you buy books (hopefully a local bookseller in your community).
