Bob Spencer

The Rev. Dr. Robert Spencer,
Minister in Association
The full designation of this voluntary position is "Minister in Association in support of the whole people of God in their daily life and work."
Dr. Bob believes that God gifts every Christian. He served congregations in Saskatchewan and Ontario, before being called by the Presbyterian Church to start Crieff Hills Community Retreat & Conference Centre, where he served for 24 years. Throughout his first 36 years of ordained ministry he studied and taught in various fields related to congregational life and lay leadership. He also served on many boards and committees both civic and church (national & international), in various capacities, including many years on the Wellington County Board of Education. Over the last 10 years he has served as an Interim Minister in five Presbyterian congregations in southwestern Ontario.
Dr. Bob is assisting the people of St. Andrew’s to recognize and develop their God-given gifts in order to serve others in their daily life.

"I want to thank you all very much for the warm welcome I have received, and for all the help everyone has given me as I orient myself to a new city, a new church, and a new ministry."

Cordelia comes from St. Andrew's Presbyterian in Kitchener Waterloo where she volunteered as a Sunday school teacher and as the director of their Christmas pageant for a few years. After a summer working as the director of a leadership development program for teens at Camp Crossroads in Muskoka, Cordelia is excited to jump into this new ministry, and to see that St. Andrew's youth and children's ministries keep going and keep growing!
