THANK YOU! Barbara Molengraaf
All Good Things come to an end… Farewell, Barb.
Where has the time gone? Easter Sunday marks the
conclusion of our time with Barb Molengraaf, our student
minister. She is all grown up now and will be moving on in
order to seek a call at some ‘lucky’ congregation. I know I
speak for the congregation when I say that we will miss Barb.
Her enthusiasm and unpredictability was a tremendous blessing to our community. I am confident that any church
that calls Barb will be blessed to have her offer her gifts among them. Congrats on completing your course of study,
Barb. We hope you learned as much from us as we had the opportunity to learn from you. We will miss you.

Special Notice:
2009-10 Norfolk Street Reconstruction
- click here to view entire pdf file
Extracts from Notice:
... The project of most immediate interest to St. Andrew’s is the reconstruction of Norfolk Street from Quebec Street, north to the Five Points intersection. Construction is scheduled to begin immediately after Labour Day. It will proceed in three phases and total completion will not be until the summer of 2010.
...
the stretch of Norfolk St. immediately in front of the church will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction for most of the next year. In particular, it is likely that the steps and ramp access from Norfolk St to the sidewalk immediately in front of the church will be torn out and will not be replaced until the completion of the project, if at all. Furthermore, there will be no parking anywhere on Norfolk St. until the project is completed.
...
The Norfolk St. sidewalk will be accessible most of the time, but there will be brief periods when access may be temporary and challenging.
...
if you feel that any of these arrangements will make it absolutely impossible for you to enter the church, please let us know so that we can find a way to accommodate your difficulties. In addition, if you have not normally parked in the Church parking lot off Yarmouth St., but you expect to begin to do so as the result of the inaccessibility of parking on Norfolk St., could you please let us know that as well?
Thank you
Virginia Gillham, Chair, Board of Managers
WMS Petition re Human Trafficking / Modern Slavery
We can do something about it. Yes, we can!
Today, we could sign a petition requesting that Parliament include a minimum punishment, (a term of five years) for offences of trafficking of persons under the age of eighteen years.
This petition will be available at the Welcome Center and in the Church Hall after the Worship Service.

I want to thank you so much
for your generous support of the Presbytery’s One Campaign for
PWS&D Afghanistan. Your contributions to the cause were
overwhelming and I can say for certain that you have made your
mark among the Presbyterian churches in our Presbytery. Not
only did we 'beat' our challengers financially but we also showed
up in significant numbers to the event. Thanks again, I'm so
proud and honoured to be able to say that St. Andrew's is 'a place to call home.' And you know… I think I am having more fun since
the colour change.

My Neighbour’s House is built in 2009!
Together with other faith communities, we met our goal and built the house that faith built!
The dedication ceremony for the house - the home - on Johnston Street, Guelph, was held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 and the family has moved in.
St. Andrew's members and friends have shown what it means to be "a place to call home".
