Prior to coming to St. Andrew's, John was Minister of Rexdale Presbyterian Church in Toronto for five years.
He is a graduate of Knox College and McMaster University. His current areas of interest are conflict mediation, change theory, and the influences of consumer culture on society.

Jacqui Foxall
Jacqui Foxall,
Student Minister
Greetings! I’ve been doing my research, and I know that this is a congregation which truly loves the Lord and responds faithfully by reaching out with regularity to the Guelph community and beyond. I know that this is a congregation which values children, youth, and young adults, while maintaining great respect for the wisdom and experience of its young-at-heart members as well. As for me, I wear many hats: I am wife to your beloved Youth ministries team leader, Matt Foxall, and a big sister to two teenagers, Damian and Lauren. I am also a third year student at Knox College in Toronto. My areas of interest are: ecclesiology in a post-modern context (how we do church in the 21st century) and the Emergent Church movement. I anticipate the growth which God has planned for me and for you over the year 2008-2009. And so as we travel this Emmaus road together, let us keep our hearts open to His guidance! Oh, and if you were wondering if I like long walks on the beach, I’m rather indifferent actually.  But I do love cooking and baking, doing yoga, watching movies which make me laugh till I cry, the colour green, and snow.  Yes, I said it: snow.
PHOTO Fred Gingrich
Fred Gingrich,
Director of Music
Fred studied organ with Jan Overduin at Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating in 1983 with a Bachelor of Music degree specializing in the Honours Church Music programme. In 1989, he completed the Associate exam with The Royal Canadian College of Organists.

Fred has been involved with the music programme in various churches including Woodside Bible Fellowship, Elmira; St. John's Anglican, Kitchener; Olivet United, Kitchener; and St. John's Anglican, Elora.
Also Fred has sung in choirs including the W.L.U. Chapel Choir, Elora Festival Chorus and Menno Singers.
In September, 1995, Fred arrived at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Guelph, as Organist along with Gordon Burnett as Choir Director. Upon Gordon's resignation in 1999, Fred added the duties of Choir Director to his existing one of Organist in September, 1999.
Residing in Elmira, Ontario, Fred enjoys hiking, biking and gardening. He co-owns and operates Brubacher Shoes Ltd., Elmira, and is the Treasurer for the Waterloo-Wellington Chapter of The Royal Canadian College of Organists.
Angie Angie VanWingerden,
Executive Ministry Assistant
on maternity leave
Angie came to Guelph in 1994 to attend the University of Guelph and study Hotel and Food Administration. Upon graduation she was lucky to be offered a great job opportunity in her field and here she settled, loving this community and its small town feel yet with all the amenities of a city! She is married, and has a beautiful 5 year old daughter, Eila. After 15+ years working in the hospitality field, Angie feels that the time has come to find a better work and life balance and she is thankful for the opportunity to work with St. Andrew’s.
Heather Gottscheu
Executive Ministry Assistant
covering maternity leave until May 1, 2009

Margaret Blatherwick,

Jenny Emerson,
Church School Team Leader
Jenny has lived in Guelph for 10 years.  She and her husband have been married for 18 years and have 2 delightful children.  She is a home school mom, a foster mom and tutors children with different learning abilities.  She has been involved with St. Andrews church for the past 5 years and enjoys teaching and working with the children and youth of the church.
Matt Matt Foxall,
Youth Team Leader
Born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario Matt grew up in his home congregation of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Kitchener where he’s been actively involved in all aspects of his church community — particularly in the area of Christian Education. Before coming to St. Andrew’s Guelph, Matt was the Youth Leader at his home congregation. He has begun attending annual conferences for Youth Leaders, most notably the “Princeton Forum on Youth Ministry”, as well as taking continuing education courses at Knox College. Matt enjoys being involved outside of church as well; such as volunteering with Kitchener Minor Baseball Association as a committee member and rep team coach. Once in a while he even gets to spend time with his wife of five years, Jacqui—who is completing Grad studies in Toronto.  Matt is an avid fan of the Maple Leafs, Optimus Prime, CSI and pasta. He’s really looking forward to where God is going to take Youth Ministry at St. Andrew’s Guelph.
Darlene LePage Darlene LePage,

As well he has taken on a similar position at Norfolk Street United Church, Guelph, and also assists with the family catering business on a part-time basis.
