"MY NEIGHBOUR'S HOUSE"
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church celebrates its 180th Anniversary with an invitation to all faith communities to build ‘My Neighbour’s House’ in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Wellington County.

‘My Neighbour’s House’ will be the first ever Multi-Faith Habitat Build in Wellington County. It will be completed in 2009 by members of Guelph’s diverse faith communities working together to fundraise and construct a new home for sale to a local low income family.

INSPIRE Newsletter
A monthly communication resource providing a sense of connection with the happenings of our congregation: information on coming events and announcements regarding meetings, brief notices about events happening within our community and local congregations, messages regarding baptisms, weddings and funerals posted within as they occur, a report from the Session and one from the Board of Managers, a monthly column by one of our ministers and quarterly articles by our Session Teams and/or many fellowship groups.
The newsletter seeks to fulfill our need as a congregation to be connected to the energy and vitality that is reflected in our people and our programs.

40 under 40 Awards: 2008 featuring Rev. John Borthwick and highlighting the 2009 Habitat for Humanity "Faith Build"

Congratulations Rev. Karen Dimock!
On Sunday December 14th, the Presbytery of Waterloo Wellington ordained Karen Dimock to the Ministry of Word and Sacraments.  The service was well attended by Karen’s family and friends as well as members of the Presbytery and the congregations of St. Andrew’s, Guelph and Morningside High Park Presbyterian in Toronto.  Rev. Penny Garrison of St. Giles, Cambridge preached and our own Rev. John Borthwick offered the charge.  Rev. Dimock will begin her ministry among the folks of Morningside High Park in early January.  It has been a long journey.  As a congregation we are sad that Karen, Hugh, Ross, Jamie and Maggie will be leaving us but are overjoyed for the Church knowing that they will be a tremendous blessing to Morningside High Park.  Well done, Rev. Karen.
